HP ProCurve undermines the demand of the eSports-Championship to become the representation of a young digital lifestyle.
The global main-sponsor Samsung Electronics will feature prominently on the World Cyber Games venue and showcase technological advances like the Widescreen Monitor SyncMaster 2253 BW. In the Samsung Soccer Area trade-show visitors can prove their soccer skills. Beyond dramatic competitions, there will be the newest cellular phones, notebook computers and MP3 players for any visitor to try out.
AMD in cooperation with Fujitsu Siemens will be showing off the current "Germany PC" in light of the World Cyber Games. Equipped with a new AMD Phenom 9600 Quadcore CPU and an ATI Radeon 3850. More than 200 "Germany PC's" will be set up for the tournaments, in between important matches public visitors can get a taste of what it feels like to be a professional cyber-athlete and play on vacant PC's. Microsoft will be setting up their very own booth for the European Championships of eSports. Additionally there will be numerous gaming-pods in the entire hall allowing gamers and enthusiasts some on-the-go entertainment. Publisher Electronic Arts will be displaying their newest up and coming gaming releases and draw in the eSport-audience with great prizes.
Additional hardware will be at the ready, courtesy of the World Cyber Games' official suppliers. Razer will be present with their own booth and is supplying the gaming stations with keyboards, mice and headsets. Speedlink will also have their own presence in Hall 22 and will be sponsoring a number of raffles on giveaways on the main-stage. Philips is presenting their amBX-technology and supplies visitors with a very heightened sense of gaming. Sports-brand Adidas will outfit the cyber-athletes with official jerseys and present further fan-items. Tournament infrastructure will be the responsibility of HP ProCurve - Every aspect of networking will be handled by the the backbone-supplier.
The Samsung Euro Championship of the World Cyber Games will be held during CeBIT in Halle 22 of the Hanover Fair Grounds.
