As Kick Off Event for the current WCG Season the
WCG 2007 Samsung Euro Championship will take place again in Hanover at CeBIT.
More than 250 player out of 25 Nations will compete in six tournaments for more
than 100.000,- USDollar prize money.
This year single-player tournaments will be played in Need for Speed: Carbon (racing), FIFA 2007 (soccer)
and WarCraft 3: The Frozen Throne
(strategy), the best European Teams of five players will compete in CounterStrike: 1.6 (tactical shooter).
Console players will be able to join a Xbox 360 competition in Dead or
Alive 4 (Beat’m Up) and Project Gotham Racing 3 (racing)
This Year’s WCG 2007 Samsung Euro Championship will be held on 8.000 sqm
in Cebit Hall 22. After the opening ceremony on Thursday, 15. March, four days
full of Showmatches and exciting Tournaments between the most talented E-Sports
players in Europe awaits the Visitor.
Besides eSport a huge entertainment program with Artists, Gaming Areas,
a Case Mod Exhibition and Information Booths of WCG Partners will be presented
to the Visitors.
